I'm Adam Batten — a Certified Professional Statistician (PStat®) credentialed by the American Statistical Association, with a Master's in Applied Statistics from RIT and over 15 years at the intersection of rigorous statistical methods and applied data science.
My career has been spent embedded in some of the most analytically demanding environments around: the Veterans Health Administration, UCSF, and a roster of nonprofit research institutes and universities. I've built causal machine learning pipelines, designed psychometric survey instruments from scratch, published in peer-reviewed journals, and written the methods sections that secured multi-million dollar grants. I've done this work in R, Python, SAS, SQL, Spark, and Databricks — whatever the project demands.
